Instructions for use of cooling products
Protect your pet from overheating, Aqua CoolKeepers keep people and animals cool all day long!

The use of the cooling product
First, make sure you have plenty of water available to submerge the cooling product. Then, remove the product from the packaging and hold it under water while gently kneading the Aqua CoolKeeper. The cooling crystals in the product will soak up the cool water and retain their cooling properties for at least two days. The product expands slightly, becoming soft and comfortable. This allows you to use the product frequently, without adding ice or freezing. It's normal for the collar to feel damp after soaking. You can gently wring out the cooling product (don't squeeze too hard!). After a few hours, most of the moisture will be gone. Your pet doesn't have to wait before putting the collar on; they can do it right away. For best results, soak the cooling product the night before use and then hang it up. This way, the product will be completely dry and filled with wonderfully cool crystals the next morning. The product can be kept cool in the refrigerator (not in the freezer compartment, just the refrigerator compartment), for example, if you have a long car ride ahead and it only gets really warm in the afternoon. Never use an ice-cold product directly on your pet, as this is unpleasant and not good for their muscles.

The cooling collar contains a reservoir of cooling crystals that precisely covers the arteries in the neck when worn. Because arteries lie at the surface of the skin, blood flows directly over the cooling reservoir, ultimately cooling the entire body. The effect is comparable to holding your wrists under cold running water. The cooling collar can be attached to a regular collar.

Washing instructions
If it is necessary to wash the product, please proceed as follows.
Dry the product completely, making sure it feels as it did when you first removed it from the packaging. It may take a few days for the product to lose all its moisture. You can quickly hand-wash the product with mild soap (but preferably without). Do not use detergent or harsh cleaning agents! These will damage the crystals and make them less effective.

Instructions for long-lasting enjoyment
Before storing your Aqua CoolKeeper, make sure it's completely dry. This may take several days. You can speed up the drying process by hanging it outside in the wind. Never store the Aqua CoolKeeper in a plastic bag or plastic container when it's still slightly damp, as this can cause mold.

The following actions are harmful to the Aqua CoolKeeper:
- the Aqua CoolKeeper cannot withstand salt water
- The Aqua CoolKeeper cannot withstand petrol or diesel
- the Aqua CoolKeeper cannot withstand alcohol
- The Aqua CoolKeeper cannot withstand bleach or chlorine.

The above will damage the cooling properties of the Aqua CoolKeeper.
