The Beaphar Dimethicare Spray Dog/Cat Against Fleas and Ticks 500 ml is a care product with a physical action on parasites in dogs and cats.

Beaphar Dimethicare Spray is a care product for dogs and cats from 12 weeks of age. The spray helps maintain a healthy coat and skin. The Duo-Complex of caring Aloe Vera and dimethicone immobilizes ticks, fleas, and other parasites such as mosquitoes, mites, and lice through a purely physical process. Beaphar Dimethicare contains no (chemical) insecticides, but silicone (dimethicone) that forms a sticky layer around the parasites. This prevents them from moving and they fall out of the coat spontaneously or can be easily brushed out. The spray has a caring effect on the coat for 8-10 days. The coat does not become sticky. Dimethicone is effective on all life stages of the flea.

Directions for use: Shake well before use. Spray against the grain, from a distance of 10 cm, until the coat is slightly damp. Do not spray in eyes, ears, nose, or mouth. Spread evenly through the coat with a comb and let dry. In case of a parasite infestation, rinse thoroughly with water after drying. Wait until the coat is dry and then treat the animal again without rinsing, or treat with Beaphar Dimethicare Line-on. Don't forget to treat the surrounding area with an environmental spray to prevent re-infestation. For preventative use, repeat the treatment every 8-10 days.
