Beaphar skin spray solution for rabbits, rodents, ferrets, cage and aviary birds, and pigeons to combat pests (lice, mites, and fleas). This spray is effective for weeks.
Directions for use and dosage: Shake before use.
Birds: Hold the bird in your hand and spray briefly from a distance of about 25-30 cm. Spray small birds (up to 100 grams) once or twice, and large birds three or five times. Start at the tail and spray against the direction of the feathers. Always spray only on the plumage, not on the head or bare skin.
Treat the head as follows: spray the solution on a cloth or glove and rub it over the feathers of the head. In case of an infestation, treat all birds. Ensure good ventilation during and after treatment. Repeat treatment after two weeks if necessary. Preferably use a (plastic) glove for the hand you are holding the bird. Remove the bath water after treatment. The spray is effective for two weeks as long as the birds do not bathe.
Rabbits, rodents, and ferrets: Rub vigorously through the fur and spray against the grain. Leave it on for one minute. Then comb the fur. Spray small animals like guinea pigs 2-3 times, and large rabbits and ferrets 3-5 times. As long as the animal is infested with pests, treat every two weeks, focusing on areas where pests congregate.
Side effects: none known. If you notice any serious side effects or other reactions, please inform your veterinarian.
