The Calathea lancifolia is a terrarium plant that requires little light. Place the Calathea in a spot with (partial) shade, but out of direct sunlight. Too much sunlight is harmful to the plant and can lead to brown edges on the leaves.
The Calathea needs high humidity and is therefore very suitable as a terrarium plant.
What makes this green/purple Calathea so special is that its leaves are "living." The plant closes its leaves in the evening and opens them again in the morning. That's why it's also called the "living plant."
