Common goldenrod (Solidago virgaurea)
Herbal preparations based on goldenrod (Solidago virgaurea L.) have been used successfully for centuries to treat urinary tract problems. They are beneficial for kidney function and urinary tract health.

In Traditional Chinese Medicine, the water element is most involved in joint function. This element is associated with kidney energy. Solidago has a positive effect on kidney energy.

In ancient Chinese philosophy, there's a metaphor that says: "Imbalance in the joints is caused by a deficient Jing in the kidneys. It pulls, tears, and wanders like a rudderless tree trunk in the sluggish rivers (read: meridians), always seeking freedom from the sea and marrow." This metaphor implies a deficiency of Jing (essence) in the kidneys, causing general malaise. According to Traditional Chinese Medicine, such a deficiency affects the back, brain, teeth, and bone marrow. Hippocrates described how, in a patient who doesn't walk well, the perverse energy of cold and dampness becomes trapped in the water of the kidneys. The cold and dampness precipitate the life energy anchored in the kidney and adrenal gland (Jing). The best remedy for this is to raise the temperature in the liver and lungs (expressing anger) and to release fears (kidney).

Boswellia
Provides relief. The resin of the Boswellia serrata tree is used in Indian Ayurvedic treatments to promote smooth movement.

Dosage and application:
Unless the doctor or therapist prescribes otherwise

Horse: 20-30 drops 1-2 times a day

Dog: 10-15 drops 1-2 times a day

Cat: 5-10 drops 1-2 times a day

1 ml = 20 drops

The product can be administered directly into the mouth or with a little water using a plastic spoon or syringe. Alternatively, it can be dripped onto a treat. Give PUUR Arthro at least half an hour before or after eating, so it can be absorbed by the clean oral mucosa.

Save
PUUR Arthro has a long shelf life if stored at room temperature, dry and away from direct sunlight.

Advice for use
In general, if your dog is experiencing stiff movements, it's wise to walk it frequently. Straight movements, walking and trotting, are particularly good for keeping the joints supple, and swimming is also very beneficial. Abrupt stops and quick turns, such as those seen while playing with other animals or throwing sticks and balls (in dogs), should be avoided. These put too much strain on the joints.

Treatment duration
In an acute situation, the duration of treatment is relatively short. This can range from a few days to three weeks. Continue administering this product for a few more days if there is improvement.

For prolonged discomfort, the effect is usually visible after 1 to 3 weeks. If there is improvement, you can switch to a maintenance dose. This is usually half the dosage indicated on the packaging. When dosing this product, carefully monitor your animal's reaction. A higher dosage may be necessary initially; this product can be safely administered at double the recommended dose. Gradually reduce the dosage to the lowest possible dose.

This product can be administered continuously. It is recommended to have a week off every 6 to 8 weeks. This way, the "stimulant" can be offered again after the week off. Resume treatment immediately if necessary.

Save
Avoid direct sunlight and store this product in a dry place at a temperature between 5-20°C. Keep out of reach of children. The expiration date is stated on the label and box.

Contraindications
During pregnancy and lactation always use in consultation with the attending veterinarian.

Side effects
To date, no side effects of this product have been known or reported. With some dilutions and extracts, a brief worsening may occur at the start of treatment. This means the animal is reacting to the product. In the event of a significant increase, halve the dosage or temporarily discontinue use and then gradually increase the dosage.

Synergy and combinations with other products
This product can be used without any problems in combination with other natural health products and conventional medicines, such as painkillers.
