The 4.5-liter Trixie Reptiland Coconut Chips is a substrate for terrariums requiring high humidity, such as for some lizards or snakes. This natural, organic product expands four or five times its original size when water is added. The chips retain moisture exceptionally well and for a long time, making them perfect for use in rainforest terrariums, humid hideouts, and other environments where humidity must be consistently high. Of course, you can also let the chips dry longer and use them in drier terrariums.
